American Gifts for Marimba Duo, featuring Jack Van Geem and Nancy Zeltsman, was released in August 2020 on Bridge Records. It features the debut recording of Michael Tilson Thomas’s masterful, virtuosic Island Music recorded live in 2005 by Zeltsman, Van Geem and the percussion section of the San Francisco Symphony. The program also includes adaptations of brilliant piano works by Roger Sessions and Irving Fine, and “Simple Gifts” by Joseph Brackett.
