My father, Joe Zeltsman (1908-2008), was a renowned portrait photographer. The seminars he taught over many years about his approach to portraiture (self-taught) influenced hundreds of photographers. In his 90s(!), he transferred his portraiture course to a website that is still available HERE (thanks to some photographer-angels)!
My mother, Martha Zeltsman (1922-2006), co-managed The Zeltsman Studio offering my father’s portrait work, and was herself a nature photographer. Her photos were featured in my “sotto voce” show. Both were recognized with Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman certifications from Professional Photographers of America.
